The (Kansas City) Regional Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Plan developed by the Mid-America Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Alliance, serves the Kansas Counties of Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte, and the incorporated cities within these counties that comprise the Kansas Mid-America Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). This plan also serves the Missouri Counties of Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, Ray, and the incorporated cities within these counties that comprise the Missouri Region A Urban Local Emergency Planning District
